About Reiki


Reiki is a gentle, non-invasive energy healing practice that works with what is called the universal life force energy, aiming to restore and rebalance the body’s vital energy, promoting overall health for body and mind.

It follows the principle that when our vital energy force is low, or stagnant, then that is when we feel out of balance and get sick.

It works towards harmonising the flow of energy within the body promoting wellness and health both physically but also mentally/emotionally.

Reiki can significantly enhance and support the body’s innate ability to restore to good health and can work complementary to other therapies and conventional medicine practice.

What to Expect from a Reiki Session


Reiki is offered either through very light touch, or with hands hovering just above the body in a series of positions, while you are fully dressed and lying on a therapy table.

Each session is unique and one can experience different sensations throughout their physical body or may have visions including colours or images.

Most often people will experience a feeling of deep relaxation or might even fall asleep during the session.

Upon completion of the treatment, time is given for sharing in retrospect to insights that may have arisen during the session either on a physical or mental/emotional level.

How long is a reiki session?

A single session is approximately 75 minutes. This is divided into 60 mins table time plus extra time in the end for contemplation on things that might have occured or come to surface during the session.

Is there something i need to do prior to the session?

There is nothing you need to do. Just make sure you show up in comfortable enough clothes in order to be able to relax during the session without any discomfort.

Can I see some results after a session?

Of course. After a sessions the body self-regulates itself and you can feel more rested and relaxed both physically and mentally.
